San Francisco's most exciting and immersive small-group tours

Madelyn in Vertigo

SF Movie Magic
Film lovers will get a unique thrill when they walk in the footsteps of Jimmy Stewart in Vertigo, or Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire, or Steve McQueen in Bullitt. We visit filming locations for “A View to a Kill”, "Milk", "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and other classics filmed here. We drive through Union Square, North Beach, Telegraph Hill, Pacific Heights, and many other neighborhoods. We see the St. Francis hotel-site of one of the biggest scandals in Hollywood history-and learn all about it. We’ll see locations for "Dirty Harry", "The Conversation", "Just Like Heaven", "The Princess Diaries", “Dark Passage”, “The Rock”, and so many others.
Next: the headquarters of Lucasfilm to see Yoda, Darth Vader, lightsabers, costumes and props inside. We see star's homes and other filming locations where tour buses aren't allowed, riding in a comfortable van with iPads to view clips of the movies.
This is one of San Francisco's top rated experiences on Airbnb!

Explore San Francisco's Dark Side
Serial killers. Political assassinations. Cults. Satan worshipers. Fratricide. Golden Gate Bridge jumpers...these are the stories the Convention and Visitors Bureau don't want told.
Starting at the site of San Francisco's most notorious killing, we next see where Patty Hearst was held hostage, then proceed to the home where Charles Manson lived while forming his murderous “Family”. From there we drive to the “Russian Embassy”, where Anton LaVey (founder of the Church of Satan) and Kenneth Anger made their bizarre occult films. We'll view the spot where the Zodiac Killer murdered his final victim, then park under the Golden Gate Bridge to contemplate how it became the world's most popular suicide destination. Serial killer Richard Ramirez, "The Night Stalker", committed his first murder in San Francisco and we'll see where it happened.
Just down the street is the theater where the Mitchell Brothers started their porn empire before one killed the other. Two-and-a-half hours of intrigue and horror. Adults only.
